No. 3 Oklahoma at No. 12 Oklahoma State (plus 7)

Oklahoma (10-1) visits Stillwater to play Oklahoma State (9-2). The Sooners lead the series 78-17-7 and have won the last five games in the series by an average score of 42-19. However, OSU is 1-2 in the last three games in Stillwater and six points or less decided the losses.

After last week’s performance against Texas Tech, Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford has his name on the top of many Heisman ballots. The sophomore quarterback has passed for 3,710 yards, completing 238/349 passes for 42 touchdowns and has only thrown 6 interceptions this season. He has also guided the Sooners’ offense to score a nation’s best 52.6 points per game. Bradford and the Sooners should have another big game against Oklahoma States 105th ranked pass defense.

Oklahoma State’s quarterback Zac Robinson; running back Kendall Hunter and receiver Dez Bryant will be tested by Oklahoma’s aggressive defense. The Sooners lead the nation averaging just under 3.5 sacks per game and are third in the nation averaging 8.3 tackles for loss per game. The last time the trio of Robinson, Hunter and Bryant faced a defense this good the Cowboys lost to Texas.

The View
The Sooners’ balanced offense and disruptive defense should be enough to get Oklahoma the victory over rival Oklahoma State a hostile environment.

Oklahoma 48, Oklahoma State 24
