The annual battle of cats versus dogs is upon us. Last season Georgia defeated Auburn 45-20 in Athens, however Auburn leads the series 53-50-8.
Auburn’s troubles scoring points this season cost Tony Franklin his job as offensive coordinator. At the time Franklin was fired Auburn’s record was 4-2. Since his firing the Tigers are 1-3 with the lone victory being over Tennessee-Martin last week.
Auburn is only scoring 13.3 ppg against SEC opponents. Although Georgia’s defense is ranked 11th in the SEC in scoring defense (24.9 ppg) the Bulldogs should have little difficulty against the de-clawed Tigers. Can you hear the Georgia players and fans calling “here kitty kitty, here kitty kitty”?
Georgia 32, Auburn 14
