No. 23 Oregon at No. 9 USC (Minus 16.5)

A warning to Pete Carroll and the rest of the Trojans, don’t look past Oregon. Although USC leads the series 36-16-2, Carroll is only 3-2 against the Ducks. Oregon (4-1) defeated USC (2-1) 24-17 last season in Eugene.

Oregon State’s short passing game and short running back, Jacquizz Rodgers, gave USC fits last Thursday. This week Oregon’s offense is going to feature two talented running backs in LeGarrette Blount and Jeremiah Johnson. Blount has already rushed for 481 yards and eight touchdowns this season. Johnson is right behind Blount having rushed for 440 yards and six touchdowns. Unfortunately for Johnson and Blount USC’s defense is going to make those stats go up in smoke.

If Southern Cal gets an early lead this game could get ugly.
