History is on the side of Oklahoma (5-1) to shake off a Texas-sized hangover on the Jayhawks (5-1). The Sooners lead the series 66-27-6 and are 35-13-3 when the game is played in Norman. Oklahoma currently has the nation’s longest home winning streak with 20 straight wins.
Although quarterback Todd Reesling and receiver Kerry Meier are great players they won’t be able to overcome Kansas’ history against ranked teams. The Jayhawks are 25-138-2 against ranked teams and 8-65 against ranked teams on the road. Even more daunting is that Kansas is 5-46-1 against top 5 teams.
Oklahoma 36, Kansas 17
