Michigan at Notre Dame (minus 1)

1887 was the first time these teams played. Michigan leads the series 20-14-1 and is 8-7-1 in South Bend.

This game will be a glimpse into the future of both programs. Michigan (1-1) will showcase running back Sam McGuffie and linebacker Obi Eleh. Notre Dame fans will hang their hats on bruising running back Robert Hughes and wide receiver Golden Tate. Notre Dame (1-1) may finish the season with a decent record, but Michigan will give the Irish their first of at least three losses.
