Saturday’s game will be the 54th meeting between Miami (1-0) and Florida (1-0). Miami has won six-straight games against Florida and leads the series 28-25.
Even if Percy Harvin and Brandon Spikes don’t play in this game the Gators will still have plenty of talent to dispatch of the Hurricanes. With Tim Tebow, Chris Rainey, Kestahn Moore and Emmanuel Moody in the backfield Florida should defeat Miami in Gainesville for the first time since 1983.
Florida 30, Miami 13
Random Notes
This will be the third time Florida has played Miami on the date September 6. Miami won the previous two games played on Sept. 6 in 1986 and 2003.
