The winner of this game will win the ACC Coastal Division and play in next week's ACC Championship game.
Virginia is coming off of a bye week after spanking Miami 48-0 two weeks ago. Virginia Tech defeated the Hurricanes 44-14 last week. Don't expect these teams to combine for more than 44 points this week.
Led by Chris Long (12 sacks, 17 TFL), Virginia's defensive unit allows less than 18 points per game. Virginia Tech is even stouter allowing less than 15 ppg.
As good as the defenses are, the offenses are bad. Virginia Tech ranks 103rd in total offense and Virginia is 99th. Look for Virginia Tech's running back Branden Ore and return specialist Eddie Royal to be the difference in this game.
