No. 19 Boise State at No. 15 Hawaii Week 13

At stake in this game is a possible BCS bowl and the WAC title. Boise State has won six straight against Hawaii and leads the series 6-2.

Provided neither team indulged on an abundance of turkey on Thanksgiving the scoreboard operator should be in for a long day. Hawaii leads the nation averaging 48 points per game and Boise State is ranked third scoring over 44 ppg.

Most people know about Hawaii's Colt Brennan and his record setting numbers, however Boise State's Taylor Tharp has been overlooked. Tharp has completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 2,839 yards and 27 touchdowns. That's a favorable comparison to Brennan's 3,237 yards, 28 touchdowns and 69.1 percent completion rating.

The deciding factor in this game will be Boise State’s defense and running game. Boise State leads the WAC in most defensive categories. Combine the solid defense with the running abilities of Ian Johnson and Jeremy Avery and Boise State will ruin Hawaii's BCS dreams.

Boise State 53, Hawaii 28
