If Air Force defeats Notre Dame it will be the first time since 1944 that the Irish lost to two service academies in the same season.
Like Navy last week, Air Force will use the run to defeat Notre Dame. The Falcons average over 270 rushing yards a game and could top 300 against the Irish. Notre Dame's defense is ranked 95th against the run and is allowing opponents to score over 31 ppg.
Air Force will make Notre Dame 1-9 for the first time since 1963. Going back to last season, the sliding Irish have won once in the previous eleven games. Make that twelve games.
